            etch a person’s mental health

Blessings conferred, prayers bestowed

            fuse to an eternal wealth

Dream chases will precede success

            but sift out pipe dreams, save your sense

Extremes destroy, tone down, evade

            intense love ties can crush when frayed

Connections break, relations stray

            friends will go their own way

                        fond memories, faith, are there to stay

Beings shrivel from scorching heat

            snowstorms freeze the workers’ clique

                        winds can change within a beat

Can’t quench the thirst, can’t find a drop

            then cities drown, for rain won’t stop

                        uncertainty, change reside on top
